Tender manicotti stuffed with a rich parmesan, ricotta and mozzarella mixture, coated in sauce and baked until warm for the ultimate crowd pleasing dinner.

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4-6)

  • 1 Box Manicotti (8 oz)
  • 1 lb Lisanti New York Style Ricotta Cheese
  • 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese, grate
  • 1 Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley, to taste
  • 3 cups Pasta Sauce

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Heat oven to 450F.

While the pasta is cooking, mix together in a medium bowl the Ricotta, half the Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Coat the bottom of a baking dish or a pan with 1 cup of the pasta sauce and then set aside.

Spoon the filling into a large plastic food storage bag and trim the corner.

Carefully pipe the filling into the manicotti.

Then place the manicotti in a baking dish on top of the pasta sauce.

Once the manicotti is filled, generously cover the casserole with the remaining pasta sauce, Parmesan, and Mozzarella.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
