Our coffee peppercorn marinated flank steak is complemented by balsamic vinegar and garlic. Perfect for grilling!

Prep time 1 Hour | Cook Time 20 Min | Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Flank Steak, trimmed of fat
  • 3 tbsp Coffee, brewed strong
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Whole Black Peppercorns, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  • Whisk coffee, vinegar, oil, sugar, garlic, peppercorns and salt in a glass dish large enough for meat to lie flat.
  • Add steak and turn to coat both sides.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (can refrigerate up to 8 hours).
  • Heat grill on high.
  • Remove steak from marinade.
  • Lightly oil grill rack.
  • Place steak on the grill and cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare (longer for medium and well).
  • Take steak off the grill and put on a cutting board. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
  • Slice thinly across the grain and serve.
