Italian Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 large cup Italian tomatoes
- 1 large cup Italian tomato puree
- 1 large cup tomato paste
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 3 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 lb meatballs
- 1 package pasta
Directions
- Sauté the minced garlic in 3 tsp of olive oil. Add the tomatoes, tomato puree, and 1/4 cup of water. Stir well over medium heat, then add the tomato paste and 3 cups of water.
- Stir and cook over low heat. Add onions after a few minutes, then add the meatballs into the sauce.
- Cook your pasta as directed, then pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well. This sauce can also be made in a crock pot on low heat.

Hunter Eggs with Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 qt tomatoes
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 small can of mushrooms
- 3 eggs
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat the oil and add onions, peppers, and garlic. Stir occasionally.
- Add tomatoes, mushrooms, and oregano. Simmer for 45 minutes, then break eggs one at a time.
- You can pour this on toasted butter muffins or sauté chicken livers before you add the tomatoes. Serve with a salad.
