Ingredients
- 1 lb Philly steak, sliced
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini
- 32 fl oz beef stock
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 slices provolone cheese
- Italian bread, sliced into a roll
Directions
- In a large pot, add the beef stock and spices. Bring broth to a boil.
- Once boiling, add steak. Then cover and reduce heat.
- Let the broth simmer for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Prepare the roll by slicing it lengthwise and folding it open. Arrange the steak evenly on the roll and place cheese over the steak.
- Toast the entire sandwich, if desired. Add sliced pepperoncini and serve with seasoned broth.
