Ingredients

  • 16 lady fingers
  • 1 1/3 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 10 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup espresso coffee, cooled
  • 3 tbsp coffee liqueur

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, being careful not to overwhip. The cream should be light, smooth, and airy. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the mascarpone, pumpkin puree, sugar, one tablespoon of coffee liqueur, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Mix until fully smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure an even texture.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mascarpone mixture using a spatula, folding slowly until the mixture becomes light, fluffy, and fully incorporated.
  • In a shallow dish, stir together the cooled espresso and remaining coffee liqueur. Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, just long enough to soften without becoming soggy.
  • Spoon a layer of cream into the bottom of each dessert cup, then add a layer of soaked ladyfingers. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a smooth layer of cream on top.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the tiramisu to set and the flavors to develop. Before serving, lightly dust with nutmeg and garnish with crumbled ladyfingers for a festive holiday touch.
