Ingredients
- 1 pkg potato gnocchi (17.6 oz)
- 5 tbsp butter
- 3-4 sprigs of sage
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook gnocchi according to the package. Drain and set aside.
- Add butter and sage leaves to a large saucepan on medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter begins to brown lightly, about 2-5 minutes.
- Remove butter from the pan and set aside. Add olive oil to the pan and heat on medium heat.
- Add in cooked gnocchi and sauté until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add back in the butter and mix with gnocchi. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add in parmesan cheese.
