Ingredients

  • 1 pkg potato gnocchi (17.6 oz)
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3-4 sprigs of sage
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cook gnocchi according to the package. Drain and set aside.
  • Add butter and sage leaves to a large saucepan on medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter begins to brown lightly, about 2-5 minutes.
  • Remove butter from the pan and set aside. Add olive oil to the pan and heat on medium heat.
  • Add in cooked gnocchi and sauté until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add back in the butter and mix with gnocchi. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then add in parmesan cheese.
  • Finally, it’s time to enjoy!
