- 7 oz caponata
- 3/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

- 1 lb ground round

- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 oz tomato sauce
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and generously grease a standard-sized loaf pan with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground round, egg, caponata (chopped if desired), breadcrumbs, salt, and ground black pepper. Ensure all of the ingredients are well blended.
- Transfer this flavorful beef mixture to the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Cover with tomato sauce and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
