Ingredients

  • 6 oz fried sweet peppers
  • 6 oz sautéed onions
  • 6 oz tomato sauce
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 mini hoagie rolls

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Cook the steak in a skillet over medium-high heat until it’s browned and cooked through. Add peppers, onions, and tomato sauce, and cook for an additional two minutes. Set aside.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by layering the cooked steak, fried peppers, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese slices inside of each roll.
  • Combine butter and minced garlic in a small bowl and melt. Drizzle melted mixture on the top half of each roll. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and place the sandwiches in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Once completed, remove the sandwiches from the oven and serve warm.
