Prep Time 10 Min | Cook Time 15 Min | Serves 2-4
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 slices sourdough loaves
- 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini, drained
- 1/2 cup giardiniera, drained and diced
Directions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Assemble your sandwiches by placing 3 slices of provolone cheese on an unbuttered side of one slice of sourdough bread. Add the roast beef, pepperoncini, and giardiniera. Top with another 3 slices of provolone and cover it with another slice of sourdough bread, buttered side up.
- Place the assembled sandwich on the preheated skillet or griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Repeat this process for the remaining sandwiches.
- Once the sandwiches are golden brown on both sides, remove them from the heat. Slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve hot.
- Enjoy!
