Slow Cooker Balsamic Beef is the ultimate comfort food without the hassle of turning on the oven. This tangy, savory dish combines hearty beef with tomatoes, onions, herbs and balsamic vinegar, best served over pasta or rice.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Eye Round Steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 medium Yellow Onion, chopped
- 1 can Petite Diced Tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp Imported Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1 tbsp Basil
- 1 tbsp Rosemary
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Thyme
- Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
Directions
- Pour olive oil in the bottom of slow cooker.
- Salt and pepper the beef, to taste, then add to slow cooker.
- Top with sliced onion and evenly sprinkle dried herbs.
- Add garlic, pour in vinegar and top with tomatoes.
- Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve over your favorite pasta or rice.
