Ingredients
- 12″ ciabatta loaf, toasted
- 4 tbsp basil pesto sauce
- 4 tbsp extra hot calabrese peperoncino
- 6 oz salami
- 6 oz prosciutto
- 12 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 7 oz roasted peppers, drained
- 1/2 cup arugula
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Slice the ciabatta roll horizontally, creating a top and bottom half. Spread pesto evenly on the bottom half, followed by peperoncino spread on the top half.
- Layer salami and prosciutto on the pesto half, and then add slices of fresh mozzarella. Place roasted peppers on top of the mozzarella.
- Add a layer of arugula and drizzle extra virgin olive oil over it, followed by a sprinkling of oregano. Place the top half of the ciabatta roll back, then cut into individual portions.
