This quick and easy Italian chicken burger recipe has so much flavor and goodness that it will knock your socks off!

Ingredients
- Two pounds of Mario’s own chicken patties
- One cup of marinara sauce
- Salt & pepper to taste
- One tablespoon of olive or avocado oil
- Four slices of Mozzarella cheese
- Four hamburger buns
- Optional: basil for garnish
Directions:
- Heat the olive oil medium-hight in a large skillet. Cook Mario’s chicken patties until golden brown on one side, about 4 to 5 minutes, or grill the burgers for 4 minutes per side or until they are no longer pink.
- Flip the patties and pour the cup of marinara sauce around the patties in the pan. Bring marinara to a simmer and top each patty with mozzarella, then cover the pan and cook for about 8-10 minutes until cheese melts and the chicken burger is cooked through.
- While the patties are finishing, toast buttered hamburger buns in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes for a warmed and lightly crispy texture.
- Assemble the burgers by spooning extra sauce from the skillet onto the bottom halves of the burger, place burgers on top, and garnish with basil. Serve while hot and enjoy!
