Mario’s classic San Marzano pizza recipe is made with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil. Add your favorite toppings for extra texture and spice!

Ingredients
- 16 oz Pizza Dough
- 1 can San Marzano Tomatoes (28 oz), hand crushed
- 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese, sliced
- 5-6 leaves Fresh Basil Leaves
- Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
- Imported Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400˚F.
- Roll out pizza dough to desired size and thickness, then transfer to a pizza pan, stone or screen.
- Season the San Marzano tomatoes with salt and pepper, then spread evenly over the dough.
- Evenly distribute mozzarella and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until pizza is cooked as desired.
