- 12 oz long hot peppers
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Begin by pounding boneless chicken breasts to an even thickness, then coat them in flour, salt, pepper, beaten egg, and seasoned breadcrumbs. Fry the chicken until it is golden brown or has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In a separate pot of boiling salted water, blanch broccoli rabe until vibrant green, then sauté it in olive oil with garlic and red pepper flakes.
- Cover each roll with slices of mozzarella cheese and sautéed broccoli rabe. Assemble the sandwiches by placing the chicken on each roll and top with long hot peppers.
